Kian Capital Makes Strategic Investment in Perimeter Holdings USA, a Leading Provider of Gate, Fence and Access Control Services
Dec 10, 2025
Kian Capital Partners (“Kian”), a lower-middle-market focused private investment firm, is pleased to announce its strategic investment to support the formation of Perimeter Holdings USA (“Perimeter”), a premier platform in the gate, fence and access control industry. The platform was formed by combining two leading regional operators, Salem Westchester LLC (“Salem Westchester”), backed by Bochi Investments, and Riverside Fence Company (“Riverside”). Kian partnered with two private investment firms, Bochi Investments and Skyline Global Partners, to create the new venture.
The transaction brings together two established market leaders serving residential and commercial customers across New York, Connecticut and New Jersey with significant market share within Westchester County, NY and Fairfield County, CT. The companies operate utilizing seven separate, consumer-facing brands, including Westchester Automated Gate, Salem Fence, Salem Ironworks, Riverside Fence, Silvestri Fencing, Fence Source and Westchester Fences.
Salem Fence Company, along with Salem Ironworks, was founded in 1968 and is based in Baldwin Park, NY. The company specializes in fence fabrication and installation, as well as custom ironwork fabrication and installation, especially iron fencing and railings. Its sister company, Westchester Automated Gate, was founded in 2003 and specializes in the fabrication, installation and servicing of custom driveway and entrance gates for residential and commercial customers. Riverside Fence, founded in 1992 and based in Ridgefield, CT, is a leading residential fence company in Connecticut.
“This combination creates the dominant player in the New York and Connecticut gate and fence market,” said Perimeter Holdings USA CEO Jerry Lewis. "Both companies have exceptional reputations for quality and service in their respective markets, and we see significant opportunities to drive growth through operational synergies, expanded service offerings and cross-selling. We are excited to partner with the Kian team and to leverage their successful sector experience to support our next chapter of growth. From the outset, it has been clear that Bochi, Kian and Skyline share our passion and vision, and with their support, we see a tremendous opportunity to accelerate growth."
Rob Kaye, who will remain an owner and President of Riverside Fence, added, “Both Salem Westchester and Riverside have built their reputations on exceptional service and skilled craftsmanship. By joining forces, we can now offer our customers across core markets in New York and Connecticut the best of both companies — expanded service offerings, faster response times and the same dedicated teams they've trusted for years.”
“We are excited to partner with Jerry, Rob and the entire Perimeter Holdings USA team to build upon the success that Salem and Riverside have experienced to date,” said Kian Principal David Hare. “The combination creates a scaled platform in the Northeast, providing an essential service to its loyal residential and commercial customer base. By joining forces with Bochi, Skyline and the Perimeter Holdings USA team, we see a tremendous opportunity to support accelerated growth, attract additional talent and build a market leader in the gate, fence and perimeter security space.”
Perimeter is actively seeking partnerships with like-minded founders with businesses that provide gate, fence and access control services to residential homeowners and commercial customers.
